Ten days following surgery for a broken shoulder, which happened due to a very hard fall when I also fractured my thumb and a rib, I began having much discomfort due a a UTI which returned after just completing a round of antibiotics two weeks earlier. It was a Saturday. I could not reach my urologist, so I was preparing to try to get to the ER, when I decided to contact Dr. Solis first to see if he could help me. Thankfully, he responded to my call immediately. After I described my dilemma to him, he agreed to calling in a prescription for the antibiotic which I badly needed, and instructed me to follow up with my urologist. Oh, what a huge relief I felt just knowing that I did not have to spend hours in an ER, especially considering the added discomfort I was feeling due to the very recent surgery and injuries I had sustained. In addition to his medical expertise, he is always very caring and considerate. He always asks how my husband is doing, who is suffering with ESRD, even though he is not his patient. Even though his office is a thirty mile drive for me, I am thankful he is my doctor!

I believe the moment I realized my relationship with Dr. Solis is making a difference was during our visit on August 17th, 2023. Reviewing my recent prior history and updated lab results during that visit, we both came to the conclusion that I am 100% better off than I was a year earlier and may have added several more years to my life. I first went to see Dr. Solis in January 2023, upon the advice of a close friend, I had been feeling lousy for several months and was struggling with several problems around stamina, itchy skin, rashes and serious aches and pains in my back, legs, hips and neck. I've never had a PCP before and I was trying to manage my health situation by going to four separate specialists - a cardiologist, an allergist, a dermatologist and an orthopedic physician. I needed someone who could assess my entire situation and provide some relief - someone who could analyze the affect (on me) of separate specialists trying to solve separate problems. I'm pleased to report that, in coordination with my other doctors, Dr. Solis was able to determine causes and find solutions to my symptoms. My stamina is much better. My aches and pains are almost gone (with exception of a little arthritis). My itchy skin is completely gone, And, my lab results are better than they have ever been. I feel great! Thank you Dr. Solis for being "My Quarterback" and helping me get back on track.
