Dr. Gary Miller has been my primary care doctor for many years. He is the kind of doctor I wish everyone could have. An expert medically and always on top of the latest medical information, but also caring, thoughtful, and accessible. He is a patient-centric doctor, providing his expert advice, yet always making sure my view or concerns and preferences are part of the discussion. He has… See more

Testimonials from patients of Dr. Miller
Back at the end of April of 2023, I noticed a lump in right axillary. I went to my GP, Dr. Gary Miller who immediately had me in to Washington Radiology for an exam. A week later the results were in and identified the lump as Merkel Cell Carcinoma, a very rare skin disease. Very quickly, by May 5, Dr. Miller had me in at Johns Hopkins Kimmel Cancer Center. By May 10, I was put on an… See more
Through Covid, Pneumonia, joint pain and the various maladies of life, Dr. Miller has been incredibly insightful in steering me towards staying healthy. My instincts are often wrong and his guidance has been impeccable. I feel lucky to have him as my physician..
For over 30 years , Gary has provided excellent care for our family. Recently, he prescribed a weight loss program resulting in me losing 30 lbs. and going forward another 30. This has reduced my golf handicap to +3 with a possibility of qualifying for the PGA Senior Tour.
Dr. Miller has explained, with expert insight, nuances of my chronic condition that had escaped me — including that a medication I was taking, at high doses, can actually act as an irritant. Under his care, I was able to radically lower my dosage and make my condition much more manageable.
I simply want to declare that my doctor, Dr. Gary Miller, is a "wonderful doctor." He is a very caring doctor who takes the time to listen and respond to his patient's needs. I lucky to have such a doctor.
Dr Miller literally saved my life when my primary care doctor misdiagnosed several deadly pulmonary embolisms as first asthma and then bronchitis. That was in 1995 and he has been my trusted physician ever since!
Dr. Miller has had three generations of my family in his practice. He is an amazing and caring doctor who shepherded my parents to 95 years of age with the greatest possible attention and care. We believe he joined MDVIP because he wanted to spend more time with his patients. We have peace of mind knowing he is just a phone call away.
I have been a patient of Dr. Miller for many years. We enjoy a wonderful partnership and a secure feeling of well being. We have been through a lot together. With Dr. Miller you feel as if a family member is seeing to all your health needs. Dr. Miller is not only a wonderful doctor but a caring person who has made a positive difference in my health care. Congratulations!
Seeking a doctor, decades ago, for medical accreditation for renewal of my pilot's license, I visited Dr. Miller. Having never had a primary physician, I asked if he'd be mine. Physicians are humans, all of whom make mistakes. Dr. Miller has yet to make one re my care or, previously, a sister-in-law who moved away, and my mother-in-law, who died. When I moved from DC to a CCRC in… See more
