That’s what I think of when I think of Dr. Velazquez. The reason why is because he truly did save my life many years ago. I was in my early thirties, and he sent me to get a scan because I had a persistent hernia. Well, the radiologist luckily found a small spot on one of my kidneys, which ended up being cancerous. Dr. Velazquez quickly entered quarterback mode and guided me through selecting the doctors. I ended up losing that kidney, but Dr. Velazquez essentially saved my life by going above and beyond the standard care of addressing a hernia. He’s been my doctor for over 20 years, and I have complete faith in his patient care. He truly has patient care and compassion as his driving force. I’m not sure where or if I’d still be around if it weren’t for his close and guiding support for my health. He’s also taking excellent care of my wife’s health as well. So yeah, Dr. Velazquez is a lifesaver.
