My Philosophy and Approach to Wellness...

I am passionate about helping my patients improve their quality of life by balancing the many aspects that contribute to overall health and well-being. I strive to emphasize the “care” component of healthcare, working hard to build supportive, trusting relationships with my patients who enable me to share in their joy as I watch them achieve their wellness objectives and lead full and satisfying lives.

As a private doctor, my goal is to partner closely with each patient to develop a personalized plan to achieve better health. This takes time, trust, careful listening and open communication. In my smaller, internal medicine practice, I’m able to spend quality time with my patients in a setting that is uninterrupted, unhurried and focused on you. My MDVIP-affiliated practice also offers services, including comprehensive, advanced health screenings and diagnostic tests, that go far beyond those found in concierge medicine practices. I will be your healthcare partner, coach and advocate.

My primary care practice is located in Teaneck, New Jersey and serves the surrounding communities in Bergen County. I’m on staff at Holy Name Hospital and proud to be one of a few female physicians in private practice in the region. I am reachable 24 hours a day to discuss your health, when needed. I care for patients in the office, the hospital and at home as necessary. My specialized interests are in adult medicine, women’s health issues, primary prevention, cardiovascular disease, cholesterol disorders, diabetes and obesity.

Testimonials from patients of Dr. Rosen

from Goran in NJ March 11, 2024 for Amy Rosen, MD

In December 2023 I was very sick. I ended up in the emergency room. I was in the emergency room almost 8 hours. For the whole time Dr Rosen was on the phone with physicians from the emergency room coordinating my care. She even call my wife at home to provide updates on my condition. I will always be grateful for Dr Rosen's care.

I had just turned 80 and was literally dying. I was diagnosed with CLL and then developed cutaneous large B cell lymphoma. Dr Amy researched and found an orthopedic oncologist that had to amputate my right leg below the knee. After rounds of chemotherapy, I was fitted with a prosthetic foot and leg. it has now been 2 1/2 years of cancer remission. I continue to be physically active with… See more

I reluctantly signed up with MDVIP when searching for a new doctor after not having seen a doctor in a number of years. I don't generally have much success with finding doctors I feel good about.

That all changed with my first meeting with Dr. Amy Rosen. She is friendly, kind, intuitive, knowledgeable, I could go on and on. She spends time, she genuinely listens, she is a great… See more

Three years ago I went to Dr. Amy Rosen because I had pain in the area of my appendix. Since I had a brother who died of appendicitis and a nephew who also had it, I was concerned. Dr. Amy sent me for a CAT scan which showed that I had a tumor in my colon that was pressing against the appendix. She also got the surgeon to move up the scheduled surgery. I think that is why the tumor was… See more

Dr. Amy Rosen has been my "go to" physician for more than twenty years. She is always available and responds to texts/concerns. Each time I meet with her, she is totally focused on answering my questions, diagnosing problems and referring me to other excellent physicians whenever necessary.

Dr Rosen saved my husband’s life by diagnosing a serious infection in his foot. She is a lifeline to my daughter who has so many complicated illnesses. She is so warm. She has listened to me crying over my daughter and is so supportive. I think Dr Rosen is a brilliant doctor and an amazing person. She is mire than a doctor to us. She’s family.
