As a primary care physician, it is my mission to help empower my patients to thrive in life. I have discovered over my years of practice that many patients want to improve their health but need greater education, accountability and support to bring that to fruition. I focus on the science of behavior change to provide missing links for my patients. I use patient encounters as an opportunity to provide more personalized, preventive care with the primary goal of helping patients pursue a healthier life. 

In my quest to better lead my patients, I have become experienced in the science of habit formation and metabolic health. I conduct clinical research and serve as an associate professor with the University of South Florida, focusing on these domains. My combined research and clinical experience help me to teach my patients and other healthcare professionals how to use nutrition as a metabolic therapy to help treat and possibly prevent multiple disease processes.

I am part of Florida Medical Clinic Orlando Health and care for patients in the greater Tampa Bay, Florida, area, including Wesley Chapel, South Tampa, North Tampa, Westchase, Lutz, Land O’ Lakes, Zephyrhills and Dade City. My MDVIP-affiliated practice offers services, including comprehensive, advanced health screenings and diagnostic tests, that go far beyond those found in concierge medicine practices. I believe I provide care both necessary for and deserving of my patients. My passion for prevention, coupled with the MDVIP Wellness Program and patient care model assists me in living my dream of helping to address the trajectory of each patient’s life.
