Superior Personal Service to this Patient

Dr. Morrissette provided daily service, 7 days a week to help me regulate my blood sugar levels and insulin needs. i was in the hospital post chemo for a couple of weeks. my sugar levels were not managed by the hospitalists. when discharged, Dr. P. Morrissette set up a daily system for me to call him at 11 am, 7 days a week, to review the sugar levels and then get his recommendation for insulin dosing. we did this for several weeks, a few months actually. even on sunday mornings post church. we got my sugar levels in control and drove the A1c down to 6.2. we no longer call daily, but the approach we worked on for several months, has continued to keep my A1c in 6.6 range. also, he is available by phone 24 hours a day, and he means it. fortunately, i have not had to use that service more than once in the past few years. I have great confidence in him as a physician and personally as a friend. He is on top of all of the reports that i get from several different physician specialities.
