Something is wrong...
I had known Dr. Gerald Boynton, and his lovely wife, from church. I was a little hesitant to join the MDVIP "movement". But, we decided that it was in our best interest. I'll never forget after a routine tread-mill stress test, him saying, "You are way to winded after this, what cardiologist do you feel most comfortable with?" Say WHAT?!!! Long story somewhat shorter. I had the angiogram, it showed there was 2 blockages around the heart and I was, at +/- 55, maybe 3-5 years (or less) from a major stroke. Heart disease runs in my mother's family and I take after that side of the family. My mother was diagnosed with vascular dementia at 82 years old. But I was healthy; I competed in sports - football, track, in high school, surfed, hiked, played tennis 3 times a week with college friends,... but that was before going back to school, getting married, having children, getting my CPA, making partner and generally stressing out. Exercise, come on! I say that Dr. Boynton more than likely, saved my life. Need I say more? Thanks Doc!!
