My family has been going to DR Whitmer ever since we moved to Ohio in 1979. When he joined MDVIP I was concerned about the cost of the program. but it is the best decision we made for our family. As far as our families health goes we just had school phsysicals and a visit every once in a while. However, things changed when I retired from the Government and ended up in the hospital for 2 weeks with the diagnosis of kidney and heart failure. Dr Whitmer was very instrumental in helping me understand what was going on with my body while ensuring me that the Doctors treating me were the best! He would come to the hosptial to see me, call the Dr's treating me to check on my progress and keep my husband in the loop every day. I continue to have health issues and Dr Whitmer is the most awesome Dr. He has always been on top of my health and helping me understand why I have the problems I am experiencing. He stays on top of the medications I am on and those that I am alergic to so I don't have reactions. If I need to come in on short notice either Dr Whitmer or his staff always responds with if you can be here in 15 minutes I will be available. Where else do you get that response from a Dr.and staff.
