In the last six months, I was diagnosed with the following health issues: COVID 19 twice, suspected invasive breast carcinoma, a viral cough that lasted over 2 months, and a bad fall that caused extreme inflammation in both knees and made it very difficult for me to walk. Throughout all these miserable challenges, Dr. Lauro Ortega was there to guide my healing and wellbeing. He was the one who notified me about my breast cancer diagnosis and was not only sympathetic but also ordered the necessary MRI and biopsy tests and identified the surgeon and oncologist for me to see. (My breast surgery was January 3 and the lump was non malignant). Dr. Ortega has been very responsive to my medical needs, concerns and crisis, I was able to make appointments with him when needed as well as talk with him on the phone in a timely manner. He’s such a good listener and never made light of my issues. He was always very professional, knowledgeable and caring.
