My Caring Doctor
Dr. Summers is not only interested in my physical health but also in my mental health. I am on prescription drugs for depression. My psychiatrist retired, and I still needed to be on my medications. I did not want to try to find another psychiatrist, so Dr. Summers graciously agreed to write my prescriptions. I am doing well. Dr. Summers is also interested in how I use my time. He knows that I go to the Senior Citizens Center which he feels is good for me. He knows that I am writing a book. During one of my office visits, he asked me how I was progressing with the book. It meant a lot to me to know that he showed an interest in how I spend my time. I feel comfortable talking to Dr. Summers. He listens to me, and he gives me good advice. I have been a patient of Dr Summers for 30+ years. We have a good doctor patient relationship. Dr. Summers and I have something in common. He has lost a daughter, and I have lost two sons. He had sympathy for me during my lost, and I had sympathy for him during his lost. Dr. Summers is an excellent doctor. From his care, I am a physically, mentally, emotionally, and socially individual.
