Literally Saved My Life

Before I started going to Dr. Gilels, I would go to my previous doctor, go once a year and for about 5 years he would call, ask if I was taking calcium pills because my calcium was high. Each time I said “No” and that was that. “See you next year”.

The very first appt with Dr. Gilels he took blood tests and my calcium was high. He doesn’t let anything go by and investigates abnormalities. He sent me for another test and found out I had Kidney Cancer and had had it for quite a while. Kidney had to be removed. Cancer might not have been what he was looking for, but by him taking the next step saved my life. I will be forever grateful to Dr. Gilels for all that he does.
