Dr. Terry Gipson- a man for all seasons

Terry normally is in early keeping current on research and the like, and on August 30,2023, that served me well. I had awakened very early that morning with severe abdominal pain which worsened with time. My wife and I decided to go to the ER, but because I believed he would be in, I called and he was. I immediately went to his office and he quickly assessed the situation and told me to go immediately to the ER. I did and a few hours later had emergency surgery which identified that the blood flow to my small intestine was cut off. My surgeon, Dr. Rebecca Deal, "untwisted" the intestine, thereby saving my life. Dr. Gipson's strong work habits and quick assessment headed off what was a deadly catastrophe. On a lighter note, he is a marvelous photographer and avid hiker and trekker , and we have shared many stories about travels. He is what a great doctor should be, a man for all seasons.
