Dr. Scott Yager - He Always Goes Above and Beyond

My wife and I have been patients of Dr. Yager for over 30 years from the time we were in Old Bridge until the present. We followed him to his private practice in East Brunswick when he left his Old Bridge group along with our daughter, Tracey. When he made his decision to join MDVIP it was an automatic yes to follow him again.

My wife, Stephanie, passed away in December 2019 from metastatic breast cancer. She was treated at Memorial Sloan Kettering (MSK) in NY and in Middletown, NJ but she still saw Dr. Yager when needed. When we were told in late November 2019 that she had weeks left to live due to severe liver damage from her breast cancer we were devastated. Her oncologist suggested that we hydrate Stephanie over the following week so that she could enjoy her final Thanksgiving holiday with her family. However I did not want to have to take her to MSK at Middletown to do this. I called Dr. Yager on the day after the terrible news, a Saturday, and asked him if he knew an agency which would provide in-home hydration. Dr. Yager spent all that day searching for an agency and contacted each of them until he found one which would provide this service. He kept in constant contact with me during the day to keep me up to date with his progress. Ultimately he found a provider, gave me the information and I was able to provide the hydration needed. I am eternally grateful to Dr. Yager for his above and beyond efforts to help my family in our time of need. He made a very stressful time in my life more bearable. Thank you Dr. Yager.
