Dr. Phillip Morrissette - Hero

I have been seeing Dr. Morrissette for 30+ years. I am still quite active with a variety of physical activities. My health issues have been rare over the years, and they haven't impacted me much. In early 2023, my body decided to take the off ramp. Syncope, severe hip issue resulting in total hip replacement, and Meniere's diagnosis. Wow, quality of life impacted big time! I probably had more appointments with Dr. Morrissette last year than I have had in the previous 30+ years combined.
Although all three health issues required referrals to specialists, Dr. Morrissette was there to help me throughout. With each situation, Dr. Morrissette provided tests, initial diagnosis, and treatments before referrals. He stayed in touch with the specialists and monitored the progress.
Due to the surgeon's backlog, it took 5 months to get the hip replaced, creating both a physical & mental challenge for me during the year. The pain was quite severe during that time, plus Meniere's was unfolding simultaneously. Dr. Morrissette provided me treatment to alleviate the pain that allowed me to sleep. As difficult as the year was, I remained confident knowing Dr. Morrissette was there with me.
The hip was replaced in mid-September. I am already back to all activities, with a couple of additional ones I gave up several years ago due to the hip.
It took a real hero to pull me through 2023 -- that hero is Dr. Morrissette. His nurse and receptionist are outstanding, going beyond expectations for me last year. Awesome team!
