Dr. Downing is knowledgeable and honest.

I've been suffering from a chronic illness for years and have gone from one doctor to the next, hoping to find a doctor who would actually listen and work with me to help me get well, instead of one that automatically prescribes more unnecessary medication to mask the real problem, and then dismisses my symptoms. Over the years, I have lost hope in finding such a doctor, until I started doing research on alternative care and found Dr. Michael Downing. Dr. Downing is knowledgeable and honest. He listens to his patients and actually work with each patient to find the best care for that individual, instead of grouping everyone with the same illness into one category of care. But one trait that stands out above all else is that Dr. Downing is compassionate. Sometimes, that is all people who are going through a health crisis need - COMPASSION! I am also working with a functional doctor and Dr. Downing is very supportive of this and is working with (instead of against) the suggestions of my other doctor. I am happy to say that after suffering with this chronic illness for almost a decade, my health is improving and I am actually feeling better than I have in years.
