Dr. Diane Thomas...exceptional care when I needed her
On the 15 February 2022 the day of a colonoscopy I was diagnosed with colon cancer and a cat scan also revealed a gynecological concern. A day later I had an ultrasound, indicating a need for a biopsy. This triggered a series of events involving a high demand gynecologist, a biopsy, and consultations with a colon surgeon, and a gynecological surgeon, all of which happened in less than 30 days. To add insult to injury I had two breast biopsies, during that period of time. Ultimately I had a colon re-section and a hysterectomy both on April 16. Fortunately there was no further treatment required. Dr. Diane Thomas essentially orchestrated all of this and was holding my hand through this whirlwind of medical events. Paramount in this whole experience were Dr. Thomas’ interventions in getting these critical complex appointments in an unbelievably short period of time and her attentiveness to my worries including numerous phone calls. Essentially miraculous. She was and is nothing short of an angel in my life. There are not enough superlatives to describe her care, competency, and her professionalism.
