Dr. D is a friend now, and an amazing doctor.
I had a very bad experience with my former doctor, all he wanted to do was manage his time / money. The last visit with him was my annual physical, after 5 minutes, he started looking at his watch... Really, 5 minutes. I fired him that day, and started looking for another doctor.
I'm a little crazy, some say obsessed. I do a lot of research on what's important. I spoke with tons of people, and Dr. DeRosa's name kept coming up. I then checked out his medical background, and was pleased to see his association with John's Hopkins, Robert Wood Johnson, and Northwestern Memorial Hospital (U.S. News & World Rept Honor Roll). I then scheduled an interview (he had to care more about me than the clock). He passed that audition with flying colors, and I have been his patient for the last 9 yrs (2009).
I have never regretted that decision. I wanted an experienced, younger, current doctor in the vanguard of medical innovation. Every year he upgrades his practice (my care) with the newest technology. Dr. D is a friend now, and an amazing doctor. I truly enjoy having discussions with my him about my health.
