Dr. Alan Hamaker is the best

My mom was diagnosed with dementia at 91. She had always been very independent and was still driving and living alone at the time. Her doctor at did not offer much support or interest in her health or diagnosis. I switched her to another physician, near her home, but still not a good choice. I knew of Dr. Hamaker from a close friend and called his office, they got us right in. He offered support, suggested medication changes, reviewed her labs and generally made us know that someone was really taking an interest in mom’s health and future. Dr. Hamaker’s office is a little further to drive, but was so worth it. He spends time with mom at each visit asking her questions and listening. He encourages his patients and their family to call him with any questions or concerns. He responds quickly. Mom is now in a residential facility and he works closely with the nurses on her meds and care. My family is so grateful for the care he provides. Thank you Dr. Hamaker! Oh and in addition, he’s got and amazing team/staff working with him.
