On behalf of my wife Mary and myself, I appreciate the opportunity to publicly thank Dr. Barnes for the care we've received for the better part of 20 years. Doc not only is a fine physician, which we all know, but he possesses a bed-side manner that is both caring and genuine. Expertise and character is a hard combination to find in folks and Dr. Barnes is gifted in both areas.

I like people, he once said very simply. That trait, in combination with his skill set would have served him well in any pursuit he may have chosen. We're just all lucky he chose to practice medicine.

Thanks Doc for your commitment, dedication and above all, your patience (I can be a trial at times.) You know you've made a difference in this world when many who know you repeat these sentiments in one form or another.
