Beyond my expectations

My foot doctor recommended Dr. Jane (Neuman) to be thorough and someone who would be just right for me. Going on 16 yrs, he was correct both then and now, at my lovely age of 85. Not only is she a recognized western physician, but she is also open to new ideas. Most important, after my hip replacement, we did a deep dive into the many blood tests to find various conditions that she treated.. My last annual report showed me improved and back to normal in all readings.

One day I went in for a checkup, I was unusually down and in tears.
After she entered the examination room, she noticed my condition and
listened with quiet compassion and then offered that we pray together.

She did not say; maybe prayer would be helpful for you; she offered to be part of the prayer. The experience was beyond expectations. Not only was my depression gone, and my outlook improved, it remains a memorable experience that I have shared with others. No meds were needed.
