The best doctor

Dr. Alice Reed has been my doctor for most of my adult life. She is warm, caring, compassionate and very giving of her time. There are many times she has gone out of her way as she was also my mother’s doctor, but… June of 2004 I saw so much more of the love Dr. Reed has for each and everyone of her patients and their families. My mother ended up in the hospital with a heart attack. Many times Dr. Reed and I spoke about what was happening. I was my mother’s health care surrogate and was concerned about the impossible situation I was in. Dr. Reed assured me that when the time came she would be right there by my side and would answer any questions I had before making my choice. The support during this time and right after showed my that her patients mean so much to her and she truly gives 1000% to them all. Since that time, Dr. Reed has remained true to the genuine compassion she has for us all. I have tried many times to thank her, but thank you never seems like it is enough. She is absolutely the best doctor a person could ever have
