Meet Ross Q. Osborn, MD, FAAFP

Personal health has always been extremely important to me and I have channeled this into my passion for medicine. I look forward to further developing my vision into a proactive and positive approach towards helping you achieve your individual goals. I aim to personalize our doctor-patient relationship to better understand your goals and assist you with making more informed decisions towards gaining the most from life.

Combining the specialties of both sports medicine and family medicine, I will provide you with a unique experience creating a foundation in health including nutrition, exercise and managing the stresses of life. My expertise in these combined fields allows me to integrate fitness and training, prevent injuries and treat you in a whole person fashion. I have practiced in the Julington Creek area for 12 years and have been heavily involved in volunteering in the community with our recreational leagues and high school athletics.

Frequently Asked Questions

Doctors who operate in the MDVIP models typically see far fewer patients than traditional primary care doctors. That gives them more time to develop deeper doctor-patient relationships that can lead to better outcomes. They can also offer conveniences that most primary care doctors can’t, including same- and next-day appointments. They’re available after hours for urgent matters. And they have time to focus on prevention. That focus begins with the MDVIP Wellness Program, which patients pay for with their annual membership fee.

Most MDVIP-affiliated primary care practices accept insurance (your physician can tell you whether they accept your specific insurance plan). Your annual fee pays for preventive care medical services that insurance usually doesn’t cover (e.g., advanced diagnostic testing and screenings). Your MDVIP-affiliated physician will continue to bill your insurance and charge copays, co-insurances and deductibles as he or she currently does for other medical services like sick visits.

MDVIP makes wellness and prevention easier by providing your physician with innovative tools and technology. MDVIP supports your physician’s practice and seeks to eliminate barriers to a positive healthcare experience. Your doctor will determine whether and how to incorporate these tools at his/her discretion.

My new MDVIP Doctor

from Phyllis in FL • March 10, 2024
After my doctor retired in December 2023 who was in the MDVIP Network, I had to locate a new doctor in the Network. Fortunately, Dr Ross Osborn is also my husband's doctor (my husband is also in MDVIP). After our meet and greet meeting, Dr. Osborn, accepted me as a patient. I was immediately impressed. I have had only one occasion to see him since that meeting. His staff was able get Read more...

from PETER in FL • March 9, 2024
Back in July of 2021 I suffered a very serious Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI). I was bounced around to multiple Doctors and neurologists (that's IF I could make an appointment) seeking help with my injury.
I became very distressed and depressed, that is until I met Dr. Ross Osborn. Not only is he a great physician but a tremendous "Gate Keeper", pointing me to the care that I Read more...

Thanks for taking my concerns seriously

from FRIEDA in FL • February 10, 2024
I stopped in at Dr O's office unannounced in April, 2020. I was 'shopping' for a new MDVIP doctor due to moving from Alabama to Florida a month earlier. With COVID front and center, he was available for a sit-down meet-n-greet. By late fall of 2020 I was having a few 'disconnect' symptoms that lasted all of 3-5 seconds. When I went in for my MDVIP assessment after the Read more...

Helping family member

from Patty in FL • January 22, 2024
We are new patients to Dr. Osborn. Our son Brian (23) was very ill last May. He didn’t have a primary doctor bc he just graduated college and was too old for his pediatric office. After visits to urgent care with no success, we called Dr. O and asked for help. He promptly called our son(in Maryland) and after going over his symptoms, advised him to get a mono test. Brian went immediately to get Read more...

Dr. Osborn

from wayne in FL • January 22, 2024
During COVID my wife and I had a flight scheduled for Germany. We were concerned that COVID could trap us in Germany and questioned Dr. Osborn what our options are. He suggested we take a blood test for the virus. The test came back noting that both of us had the virus sometime in the past as we were not sick at the time nor were we sick before except for maybe a minor cold. As a result Dr. Read more...
