Two weeks to the day, after I was a pedestrian hit by a car, I had symptoms which you recognized was a pulmonary embolism, When my husband called you, you were there for me. You spoke to me, convinced me to go to the ER, arranged for transport and called ahead to the attending on duty. My husband's awareness of my symptoms, and your intervention undoubtedly saved my life,… See more

My Philosophy and Approach to Wellness...
My goal as an internist is to partner with my patients so they can become better advocates for their healthcare needs and participate more in the medical decisions that can help them live healthier and happier lives. I manage both acute and chronic diseases and assist with end-of-life decisions. Because of my smaller practice size, I have time to closely listen to my patients and provide proactive medical recommendations and emotional support. My MDVIP-affiliated practice also offers services, including comprehensive, advanced health screenings and diagnostic tests, that go far beyond those found in concierge medicine practices. My greatest asset is my ability to advocate for my patients' needs, and I am available for all of their questions and concerns. As a private doctor, I coordinate care through our complex healthcare system, and in so doing, I am able to help improve the overall wellness of my patients and limit unnecessary services. I have an honest and direct approach to communication and am sensitive to the different needs and goals of individuals.
My MDVIP-affiliated internal medicine practice has earned the National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA) Patient-Centered Medical Home (PCMH) Level III Certification and has repeatedly achieved above 95% nationwide for quality. This recognition acknowledges an effective way of organizing primary care that emphasizes care coordination and communication in order to transform primary care into "what patients want it to be."

Ive been with Lillian about 5 years now and continue to be very happy to be her patient.
She sweats the details and time with her is never rushed.

My rating is 5 stars.
I LOVE this Woman .. she has been my well compass to better health and a healthy, healed heart. I met DR. Cohn just after my husband died. I was very young and without a clue .. DR. Cohn knew I needed counseling which would make me a healthier version of myself so she carefully approached the subject and I found an equally qualified, loving, professional therapist to help. DR. Cohn and I… See more
Dr. Cohn has provided excellent care. She listens, is concerned and knowledgable, andf she follows up to make sure that the plan of care is effective. Her network for referrals is very good. Lillian, thank you for always making time for your patients, especially me. Last November, you were so helpful in first quickly diagnosing my shingles and then being available for additional consults and prescriptions even on Thanksgiving as I worked through it. While Im definitely looking forward to the vaccination you recommended so I can avoid a repeat experience, I wanted you to know how… See more
Dr. Cohn provides outstanding care for me both in terms of preventive care and those unscheduled times when I need her on very short notice such as when I recently fractured my fibula. I have a very good relationship with Dr. Cohn and feel comfortable talking to her about anything either medical or to do with my personal life. She keeps me on track with my weight and I always feel compelled to… See more
