I enjoy providing personalized healthcare to my patients by taking the time to fully understand all aspects of their concerns and working together to create the most successful plan to suit their particular condition and circumstances. Giving patients my time and empathy has always been very important in my doctor-patient relationships. By understanding all aspects of my patients’ lives, I am able to provide unique and personalized solutions to their medical conditions, as well as prevent future medical concerns.

I have been a general internist in private practice for many years. Because of my experience as a high school and college athlete; I have always maintained a focus on healthy living, wellness, prevention and physical fitness. The mission of my medical practice is to catch potential medical issues early and treat them with a holistic approach. My interactions with patients often include not just an explanation of treatments and outcomes, but also the contribution of appropriate nutrition, lifestyle adjustments and physical activity. My view of a holistic approach to medical care is to attend to a multisystem appreciation of disease processes and take the same all-encompassing approach to how my patients interact with the world around them. Therefore, when appropriate, I may provide guidance on choosing an activity tracker, insect-proof clothing or avoiding environmentally associated illnesses. My medical experience and training includes not just internal medicine, but also aviation medicine, occupational medicine, physical therapy, infection control, public health, disaster medicine and bioenvironmental medicine. One of the most rewarding aspects of medical practice is to meld medical knowledge and training with extensive varied experiences to explore a patient’s concerns or conditions.
