I value the physician-patient relationship tremendously. I know what it’s like to be a patient and a family member, as well as a doctor. I want to be a resource for my patients based on my education and experience practicing family medicine for over 30 years. I respect my patients and expect the same in return.
As a child, I grew up in a multi-generational family. When I was 12 years old, my grandmother was dying of cancer. The family doctor was making a house call and told my father that he was surprised that my grandmother was still alive, then said, “That will be five dollars, please.”  My father was crying and grieving for his dying mother. I overheard the conversation. Shortly after my grandmother’s death, I told my parents I wanted to be a doctor.
At that tender age, I thought I could do better than what I had witnessed. It left an indelible mark and has been the cornerstone of my practice philosophy I strive to care for my patients personally and pay attention to their unique needs to help them enjoy a healthier life. 
My MDVIP-affiliated practice offers services not found in traditional primary care practices, including comprehensive, advanced health screenings as part of the annual MDVIP Wellness Program which can help identify medical problems earlier.
I also offer conveniences, like same- or next-day appointments, which may be found in concierge medicine practices. I respect your time and try to start my visits on time and give you information and professional advice so you can take care of yourself and be in charge. I am open to holistic complementary medicine. I try to practice what I preach by attending yoga classes and strength training. I enjoy traveling and spa time.
