Hello, I will be totally honest. I had no interest in joining MDVIP. I was happy with my Nurse Practitioner (I never got to see the actual doctor) and since I never went to the doctor but once a year for my annual physical, I felt I didn't need more care than that. Plus, I couldn't justify the cost of the MDVIP program. I consider myself to be pretty healthy with no health issues. My husband on the other hand has been a part of the program for a number of years. He has many health issues and he enjoys the program. What changed for me were two things; 1) when I did need to see my N.P. for an issue, she'd "farm me out" to a specialist. I was like, "Can't you treat a common UTI without sending me to a specialist?!" Heck, I felt if I stubbed my toe she'd send me to a Podiatrist. That got to be annoying. 2) When COVID was officially over, she wanted all her patients to continue wearing masks because her mom died from COVID and she had unvaccinated patients. I refused. She didn't like that, I didn't care, so I left the practice. When my husband told me that Dr. Biby Rajan-George had taken over the MDVIP practice, I was beyond thrilled! I was once a patient of her's but when she left the practice, the office wouldn't tell me where she went so I was left to find another doctor. I immediately set up an apt. for a "Meet and Greet" and was so happy to see her again after all these years. She hasn't changed one single bit. I signed up. I was still concerned about the outlay of money knowing I require very little care but that was about to change. That July, I got into some poison ivy and my arms were covered in it. It was horrible. It was 4th of July weekend and she answered her phone, called in a RX for me and I started feeling better. Fast forward to my annual physical that Sept. She spent a lot of time with me going over the results of the Cleveland Clinic's extensive blood test results and answering any questions I had. She listens intently, offers sound advice, and has a wonderful "bedside manner" that most physicians lack. She's compassionate, kind and above all is a faith based physician who loves the Lord as do I. I feel she "gets" me. Then in June, I fell hiking and broke my right wrist. Once again the office got me in to an orthopedic group to have it looked at and cast. I suffer from S.A.D. twice a year; once in the Fall (Sept-Nov.) and once in the Spring (Mid-February-April) and now I'm also suffering from menopausal symptoms, both conditions are making me miserable. I thought I could muscle through it but I can't. On top of depression and menopause, I have the stress of owning a business with my husband and his own health issues. I snapped the other day and knew I had to say something. Dr. Rajan-George called me and listened to my issues. Not only did she explain how menopause affects women my age, she offered help with a RX to ease my depressive episodes and then, get this.....she prayed over me. Yes, she prayed for me. I was blown away. Do you know how much that meant to me and how desperately I needed that? I felt a huge weight lift off my shoulders and mind just knowing SOMEONE cares, SOMEONE understands me and doesn't blow me off or treat me like a number. My prior N.P. told me to just deal with it because that's aging for ya. I now believe MDVIP is worth every penny you pay. To have such personalized, compassionate, and knowledgeable care is worth its weight in gold. I know she's very busy but always takes the time to talk to me and never rushes me or makes me feel like I'm a nuisance. God bless her and her staff. I plan to renew my membership!

Dr. Rajan-George is an excellent listener, and her perceptiveness and comforting demeanor allows me to leave her office feeling calm, well cared for, and as if I had spent time with an excellent psychologist . She has an astute knowledge of medicine. She also has an acute understanding of people. Her office staff is outstanding. When I go for an appointment I feel well cared for from the moment I step in the door, to the moment I leave. (She reminds me of a physician I had when I was a teenager. She was superb. I could count on her. Just as I can count on Dr Rajan-George). The atmosphere of her office is one of calm and confidence. It is in stark contrast to some other primary care practitioners I have seen over the years, which left me feeling drained and dehumanized. I am very grateful for the care I receive. Thank you.
