I am excited to be an MDVIP-affiliated physician. For me, the most fulfilling part of being a physician is the relationships I build with patients and their families through mutual trust, respect and collaboration. It is my mission to care for everyone as a whole individual and not just as a number, as I believe each of us is unique in our healthcare goals and needs.

I have been focusing my continuing education in recent years on longevity with a focus on preventive care for both adults and children. By providing healthcare that is a combination of traditional medicine and a focus on nutrition, physical activity, hormones, vitamins, supplements and spiritual growth, I believe I am able to help my patients pursue their health goals and experience their lives through a new approach to wellness.

It is important to me that I practice these approaches to health and wellness in my own life, as I start each day with a meditation and workout. I mix up my workouts to keep my mind and body sharp, including strength training, yoga, hiking, walking the dog and snowboarding. I find community to also be a large part of selfcare, and I love to be with my family, my friends and groups throughout my community.

In my MDVIP-affiliated practice, I can help patients of the Lake Tahoe and Carson Valley, California, communities as they work to improve their health quality and longevity incorporating my whole approach to wellness. I can help my patients be in charge of their own health goals. Similar to concierge medicine practices, my MDVIP-affiliated practice offers conveniences like same- or next-day appointments. I am fortunate to be board certified in hospice and palliative care, which also allows me to participate in care at the end of life.
